The Friends is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 that helps our library grow as a welcoming, safe place for all by supporting programs, services, improvements, and community partnerships made possible through generous local support.
All donations are tax deductible.

What Friends Funds Can Support
Friends funding supports programs, special collections, equipment, furnishings, and capital improvement projects (not routine operations).
What We Do
- Raise, manage, and spend funds that support the Thorp Public Library’s growth and development.
- Enhance library programs, services, and capital improvement projects beyond government funding.
- Promote appreciation and use of the library’s educational and cultural resources.
- Collaborate with other organizations to benefit the library.

When We Meet
Meetings 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:00 at the library.
All members are welcome to attend. The meeting agenda will be posted at the library 1 week in advance.
